✦ The story

From the cab
to the platform.

183 pounds. Two years. One trainer who actually saw me.

Before I was anyone's coach, I was a truck driver who weighed four hundred pounds.

That sentence is the whole résumé. The miles, the truck-stop food, the back pain you stop noticing because it never leaves — that was every day. I told myself I was fine. I told my wife I was fine. I told my kids I was fine. None of us believed it. The mirror complaint everybody tries to whisper to themselves first — I can't do it, this won't help, I should just give up — I had that conversation with myself a hundred times a year.

The decision moment wasn't a doctor's warning. It wasn't a stepped-on scale. It was watching a trainer I'd hired — quietly, embarrassed, paying out of pocket — work with another client. She didn't lecture. She didn't shame. She just stood next to him, set after set, like the work was hers too. I'd never seen anyone in a gym treat a struggling person like that. I thought: that's the only way this works for me.

183 pounds. Real food. No miracle.

I went from 400 lbs to 217 lbs. Two years of unglamorous work — protein, walking, getting my sleep back, learning the difference between fatigue and depression, learning the difference between hunger and habit. No 30-day program would have done it. No supplement stack would have done it. The thing that did it was a long road and somebody walking it next to me.

That's the trainer I became. The whole reason Primal Power Training exists is because there was a moment when one person treated me like the work mattered. I do that for every client now. It's a long road, but we can get there together.

The method has a name in Greek.

The brand is Greek for a reason. The Greeks built the gymnasium as a place for the whole human — body, mind, citizenship. They didn't separate "fitness" from "becoming someone." Modern coaching forgot that. We sell programs the way we sell furniture: assemble, use, discard. I run my coaching the old way. Reset is your first season. Transform is your real build. Maintain is the rest of your life.

The persona I model my coaching on is Jay Cutler — four-time Mr. Olympia. Not because anyone here is chasing a stage, but because Cutler's whole career was patience and consistency. He wasn't the most talented. He was the most relentless and the most boring, in the best possible way. That's what works for parents with full schedules.

No 30-day promises. No body shaming. No supplement upsell.
— Aaron's standing rule

What I refuse to do.

Most fitness marketing is built on shame and shortcuts. I won't take either side of that trade. No 30-day promises, because four weeks is the warmup. No body shaming, because shame is what got most people stuck — adding more is not a strategy. No supplement upsell, because your coach should not also be your dealer. I make my money coaching, period.

What I know that most coaches don't.

I know what it's like to feel unsure or doubtful. I know what it's like to look at a plan and quietly assume it won't work for me, because that's been my whole experience. That's the unexpected fact most of my clients tell me made the difference. I'm not coaching down to anyone. I'm coaching across.

If you read this far, you probably needed to read it. Pick up the phone or send the email — both go straight to me. There's no funnel, no application, no countdown.
